Now at camp, He has found reasoning behind his inevitable hunch; which was sparked from his reliable instincts, and accumulated paranoia. Miles is able to sniff out a lie from the distinct scent of the truth **If he successfully overthrows his paranoid second-guessing - at least.

2.Instrumental Affinity: Child to the god of music, Miles has had a peculiar knack for learning impressive fluency with nearly any instrument, Though he doesn't experiment and sticks to the Grand Piano. **Miles still requires reasonable practice, but with the natural talent, note-reading and execution comes with ease.

            Even as an easy-going child, Miles has always had a nerve-ridden behavior - which discreetly worsened due to his early neglecting. His treatment as 'the boy who cried wolf' earned him a cold/tough attitude, and serious trust-issues, Though like everyone else he has his fears and worries inside. As the boy grew into puberty, And began treading towards the start of his high school years, He developed a very prideful and brash attitude which complemented his title as the 'cool kid' of his school. Still, he held an over-protective, empathetic place for the few people he would deem close enough and wouldn't hesitate to stick up for anyone. Miles is neither pessimist, nor optimist. He finds himself more hopeless then hopeful, But would still pursue his wants at full-throttle, Even though he will do so in secret if he thinks he has to.  Along with his independence, Miles also began to take a sort of leadership within his subordinates, granting him a strict and bossy attitude when he was in position of authority or felt like he needed to take the lead. Although he gives off the first impression of a stand-offish guy, If you do manage to get past the ice-cold exterior, Miles has a 'warmer' person, within.

     Since her encounter with Apollo, Melanie abandoned her previous religion (Catholicism) - much to her family's distaste - and began faithfully studying, following and believing in the legends of Greek Mythology, Regardless, She never broke her promise to the sons father, and refused to directly spoil the secrets of his lineage. Born to her, a single mother in Boston, Massachusetts Miles was raised with public schooling, and an average finance. He lead a casual raising, and at an early age, began taking note of the peculiar truths behind the mist. As he grew through childhood, Miles would openly point these things out to his friends and teachers. The disbelief he received, caused the other children and even teachers to neglect him, His only companion being his pet lizard, Python and His mother, who wouldn't just believe the stories, but explain to him what it might have been that he seent, according to the myths of olympus.

    As Miles grew into his preteens years, He grew comfortable in his isolation and subconsciously constructed a lonesome attitude, Not even bothering to retell his peculiar experiences when his mother would ask. Later finding an outlet in the sound of music, Miles began faithfully playing the Piano in secret. Melanie struggled to finance his hobby, But did what she had to do - as a mother. At this point, He was convinced by the disbelief and completely declined the possibility of any 'beliefs' being real, focusing more on his secret passion for Piano playing. Miles rebuilt his social stance as high school approached, and was dubbed the 'cool kid'. The boy reclaimed his regular life until the mist thinned around him once again.

    In an attempt to rekindle her relationship with her son, Melanie set up a piano recital for him at a nearby music hall. Though his embarrassment needed much convincing, He ended up agreeing to play for the crowd, figuring they would be strangers with much musical opportunity. He played A River Flows In You by Yiruma, earning a standing ovation but the lively moment was cut short by a high pitched scream. The crowd began to panic and fled the auditorium, Leaving Miles - who could see source of the scream, A furious siren - his mother, and a shadowed audience member who remained.  Completely traumatized and stuck in his disbelief, Miles through himself to the ground and closed his eyes, Chanting 'Its just a dream'. The siren lunged at the boy but was stopped short by the mysterious bystander - Who revealed to be the regional satyr. Melanie couldn't see through the mist, but when the extreme scuffle had finally ended and the satyr introduced the idea of camp half-blood to the family of two, She was more then pleased, revealing that she expected her sons recruit sooner or later.
    
    Miles, only for the sake of his mothers safety (since he refused to accept the existence of the gods) agreed to join the Satyr back to the camp. 
 

Misc Info.

- The Satyr that recruited Miles, immediately took note of his lineage when he heard the soothing skill Miles had with the Piano.
- Miles has a Boston accent.
- Broke his nose in the scuffle at the music hall the day of his recruitment. Even though it has healed, A small bump on the ridge of his nose still remains. Miles is pretty insecure about this 'scar', But doesn't bother to cover it.
- Miles grinds his teeth in his sleep.
